Taking up the 100 word challenge with #Fridayfotofiction

He stared at the decayed hut that was once his home. The one he had once left to look for greener pastures. The abandoned house now a picture of battered and lonely spirit was where his foundations lay.

After 15 years of migrating out and hitting a jackpot by building homes for those in the big town, he was worried about his kids’ high flying attitude. How could he make his teenagers appreciate his roots and understand that life hadn’t been and might not always be a bed of roses? Suddenly he knew how.

This house was their reality check.

A very good way to teach children about roots is to take them back to it.Even once in a while is good.A great way to do it .
