Headed For Change – #GratitudeCircle August 2018

Gratitude Circle

The month of August saw me featured as an author on two blogs. It was like a dream come true for me. Though still an amateur, I find pride and pleasure in now introducing myself as an Author to the new people I meet.

Post AtoZ Challenge , the ebook launch, the mandatory book reviews etc. August found me a little tired and in need of a detox break. All through June and July I was over whelmed by the various blogging campaigns. So August’18 saw the least number of blog posts and least participation in various bloggers groups. Thankfully I have come out refreshed and ready to take on the DADDY of all challenges in September’18 i.e. The #MyFriendAlexa challenge. For a change I am not going prompt on this channel and have restricted myself to the premises of two themes – Karmic Fitness and Book Reviews. Read more about the themes here.

The onset of this month, also brought about some concerns over my mother’s health. She has been diagnosed with a chronic lung disorder. I decided to travel alone to meet her. It was a difficult decision for me, as I had never travelled alone in the last 5 years, since my first one was born. But I had to take this trip for my mom. And travel I did for five days to be with her and understand the nature of her ailment. By God’s grace things are moving upwards on her health front.

While I was on a lone trip to my native city, I decided to make the best possible use of the little time I had. I met a friend after 10 years. While it was a joy to meet him, my heart shattered at the information that he lost his younger sibling to an accident 8 years back. I also met his wife, who was an extremely warm person. It is a blessing when your friends’ spouses also take a liking towards you. It is a sure short license to a long standing friendship.

Life is really good when you have friends to look forward to at every step. Another bestie of mine, decided to sleepover the last night I was at my parents place. We went out for a long drive, enjoyed a chocolate loaded milk shake at the drive in restaurant at Nik Baker’s and spent a night full of hearty conversations.

Thanks god for such mercies in life. For making life all it’s worth!

I have taken to following a Karmic Fitness Program by Neha Jain of GMCKS Pranic Healing Trust and am making decent progress with it. As an outcome, I feel less stressful and least answerable to anyone. That’s a positive change in my life!

And oh! I must mention here that a big project that has been in the pipeline for almost a year now, is going to take a definitive shape within the next three – four months.  Trying not to reveal it here now, but have to express my gratitude.

I see a radical change in the direction my life’s going from here. May the universe conspire to make the journey memorable.

It can be scary traveling alone, especially when you’ve never done it before. But, to me, growing old without experiencing everything you want from life is even scarier. I have always travelled alone ever since I turned 20 years. Because of work and some workshops and seminars I attend I travel a lot. I’ve found that you’re never alone when you travel. You’re constantly surrounded by people! I am glad you met your old friend, it is always great to be in touch with people whom you have known since long time.

I have traveled alone too extensively, but since I became a mother I had forgotten the feeling. But yes, I agree with you that you never travel alone.

Health and Friendship are two very important aspect of our life and living. Parent’s health are so vital to our well being. Unfortunate tragedy makes us feel so sad and we forced to reflect on the harsh reality of life. Good health and good friendship makes the journey of life beautiful and we need to take care and nurture both of them to reaping the right kind of benefits.

It’s always good to sit, relax, recognize and appreciate the past days. Good luck with your Alexa challenge.

You definitely got my curiosity piqued Anupriya. What scheme could you be up to? Hmmm…
Good to know your mother is doing better. And those good old friends and short getaways do make life worthwhile
